Manor by the Lake Wedding Films in Gloucestershire's Cotswolds

Gabrielle and Miles' Manor by the Lake wedding was an absolute delight to capture in 2023. With their beloved dog in tow and nods to literary, movie, and TV favorites sprinkled throughout, it was a celebration brimming with warmth and personality.

Opting for a November woodland setting at Manor by the Lake, I was initially surprised – but was I proven wrong! Despite the chill in the air, we lucked out with perfect weather. The rustic charm of the woodland setting, adorned in vibrant autumnal hues, was like stepping into a fantasy world straight out of Lord of the Rings. The couple's love for fantasy was evident in every detail, with the warm orange and green tones of the trees echoing their wedding colour scheme. As they walked back up the aisle to the tune of Concerning Hobbits, it was as if we had stepped into our own cinematic version of Peter Jackson's epic trilogy.

Natalie & Colins wedding at Manor by the Lake was a totally different affair altogether compared to that of Gabi & Miles which, for me, is a beautiful thing! I love the uniqueness of each wedding that I capture on film, and I strive to ensure that each wedding film that I produce is a unique representation of each couples wedding day.

Natalie & Colins day was a much more classic British Traditional wedding, which is reflected in their wedding film whilst still maintaining the essence of what a HC Visuals film is, warm, fun, romantic, sentimental, and epic! 

I cant wait to get back to Manor by the Lake over the coming months and years and capture more amazing wedding moments on film for couples.

A personal highlight for me was the couples dashing dog in attendance, complete in his very own matching groomsmen suit and bow tie. Bringing your beloved dogs is an absolute yes from me, they are such an integral part of the family and it always warms my heart when I see the couple including them in their wedding. I also make sure to capture their furry little faces on film to immortalise them forever in the wedding film.

As you can see from the film, we really were spoilt with the autumnal colours on display, not to mention a November golden hour for the ages which, combined, results in a wedding film that is warm, inviting and exudes autumnal charm.

And speaking of memorable moments, the autumnal backdrop provided by Manor by the Lake was nothing short of breathtaking. The vibrant hues of red, orange, and gold painted a picturesque scene that perfectly complemented the couple's love story. As the golden hour of November cast its warm glow over the venue, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every frame of the wedding film captured the essence of the season, radiating warmth, romance, and autumnal charm.

In addition to the stunning natural scenery, the love and laughter shared between Gabi and Miles lit up the screen. Their genuine affection for each other was palpable, making every frame of the film come alive with emotion. From heartfelt vows to joyful celebrations, their love story unfolded with grace and authenticity, leaving an indelible impression on all who watched.
